In this workshop, we’ll explore the spiral as both a natural phenomenon and a powerful artistic symbol. We’ll look at spirals across time, from ancient 5,000 year old Irish triskeles to the visionary paintings of Hilma af Klint, and the contemporary artworks of Louise Bourgeois.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, “spiraling” often means getting caught in a loop of overthinking or catastrophizing. But what if spiraling could be a good thing? Rather than trying to escape the spiral, we’ll use it as a starting point for curiosity and creative flow. Wielding watercolor, we will tap into something larger than ourselves, creating our own spiraling compositions.
